Taste of Eagle Rock – A Fund Raising Success

2019 Editions July Updates

By T. A. Hendrickson

The expansive lawn at the Hill Drive home of Michael and Eugenie Noguiera was the site of the 5th annual Taste of Eagle Rock on June 23 where some 300 visitors sampled specialties from 25 local restaurants.

There were pork sliders from Max City BBQ, Mediterranean-style grilled chicken from Aslan, chocolate mousse from Little Beast, to name a few of the offerings. The drink menu included wine selections from the Colorado Wine Company, iced coffee from the Muddy Paw and tea from Kitty O’Shea’s Irish Imports.

With the venue and furnishings donated by the Noguieras and the chefs volunteering their time and expertise, all of the proceeds from the event ($45 per ticket) went to Collaborative Eagle Rock Beautiful, the beautification group that owns and tends the Eagle Rock Trail to and looks after the trees on Eagle Rock’s medians.
