Nancy Moylan (Snyder) Barry, a lifetime resident of Eagle Rock, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2018 at the age of 49.
As a child growing up in Eagle Rock, Nancy attended Dahlia Heights Elementary and Saint Dominic’s, before attending and graduating from Flintridge Sacred Heart High School in 1986. While attending college at Saint Mary’s in Moraga, California in the late 1980’s, Nancy met her husband and the love of her life, John Barry, known as “JB.” The two settled in Eagle Rock and were happily married for over 26½ years. The joy of her life was their daughter Monica, whom she absolutely adored, and who kept her going strong through years of difficult health challenges.
In recent years, Nancy could be seen rolling up and down Colorado Boulevard on her electric scooter, frequenting her favorite neighborhood food stops such as Malbec’s Grocery, Milk Farm and the Eagle Rock Italian Bakery.
Nancy is survived by her husband John, “JB,” daughter Monica, mother Elizabeth (Betty), and a multitude of loving Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Rest in peace, Nancy, and keep the world laughing!!
