In an exemplary display of cooperation between community leaders and state and local officials, $7.5 million has been secured to upgrade three soccer fields and other facilities at Rio de Los Angeles State Park in Cypress Park. One LA River, Many Park Interests

One example of working together to advance various interests involves Anahuak’s Raul Macias and Jon Christensen, a UCLA adjunct assistant professor specializing in the environment and a board member of the non-profit Los Angeles River State Parks Partners.
